Rooftop cargo boxes for cars - pros and cons

I'm trying to get one for my car (Peugeot 208) and I keep reading that people think they are difficult to store, when they take them off the car.

I've never had one, so I personally can't see a reason why you would remove them from the car unless you're getting a car wash.

Anyone here who has a rooftop cargo box and can tell me if it's worth it?

Honestly, Pros everything, got one 4 years ago, never looked back, cross country to camping weekends are a piece of cake cause of it. Only cons is heavy windy days or if your too short to reach into it.
