Snowpiercer is a enjoyable show

The movie was amazing. The show now out on Netflix is pretty good as well. Was sceptical in the beggining, but it grew on me.
Anyone else watch this show? Season 2 just came out

Loved the movie.

Definitely curious to hear about a show.

Don't suppose it's directed by the same guy though hey?

Movie was amazing, perfectly pulled off what it was trying to do.

Tried to get into the show but just thought it was meh. Jennifer Connelly still lookin good - could add a few lbs though.

Don´t think it is directed by the same guy no. The show has a pretty low rating on imdb, way too low imo. It´s not as good as the movie, but it got me hooked. With Sean Bean now in season 2, things are getting interesting. Some of the episodes were really intense and good and the show got better overtime. Some of the actors were a little cringe in the beginning, but they grew on me.

Watching season 2 epsiode 2 now. Some good scenes. Turns out that there are some psychos around

I loved the movie. That scene where the kid runs with the torch through the dark train carriages so that the fighters can see what the phuck they are doing is such an awesome scene.

I'm just hoping that the show isn't too 'woke' as it is of course Netflix.

Yeah, the movie and that scene was amazing. It´s a little bit of wokeness in the series, but it also shows the problems of communism, and all the chaos that ensures in the fight for equaity. The wokeness wasn´t too much in the series, so it didn´t bother me much.

Couldn't get past the fact that it was entirely ridiculous. So to get to the school you have to pass through the orgy cars? It was logistically full retard and took me completely out of the premise. Also, Jim Carrey in Cable Guy was a normal actor compared to the overacting in Snowpiercer.

lol it is, they casted a black male with dreds and a holier than thou voice who im pretty sure starred in a all white people are racist movie
plenty of lesbians and at least one tranny in it
more interracial couples than not
dont really have a problem with this its just forced and not representative once again of the real world

but its still a good show, just the usual forced "lets make this as mutli cultural, lgbtq affirming as possible in the cast"

Movie was ok. Some parts made it seem....weird as fuk like tilda swenton's character, the guys who stopped the fight in the train car to celebrate new year's, the egg scene. It was just too.....random and seemed like the producer was being.....whimsical. It just came off to me as too try hard. Will still rewatch though
