The prosecutor in the Casey Anthony case 10 years ago was a complete moron

They charged her with first degree murder. But they didn’t even have a cause of death!

She lied to the police during her initial interview. And there was a lot of stuff that made her look shady. But they didn’t have a single piece of concrete evidence to convict her on.

It’s crazy that the DA took this case and it’s even more crazy that the judge didn’t talk them out of it.

I kind of remember the case when it was going on but didn’t pay attention to it. And I remember everyone freaking out when she was found not guilty. But damn... in hindsight this was a no-brainer.

Yeah I think the media frenzy pushed the prosecution waaaay too early for a conviction.

You do realize that having 'concrete evidence' is a pretty rare thing right? They most likely had more evidence/information which was inadmissible/with-held.

Its pretty rare when police don't know who a murderer is. Its just a matter of being able to prove it. They thought they had a case. They went with it.

And if she was a guy she would’ve been found guilty

First degree had some risk associated with it, but still should have been a slam dunk.

Baffling she got off.

Yes he was.

She got off because she's an attractive white woman. I think she got richer in jail from simps sending her money than she was when she was outside.

- She searched the phrase “fool-proof suffication” on the family computer.

- The father of Casey found maggots and smelled "something that you never forget" when he opened the trunk of his daughter's car.

- Authorities say an air sample test from Anthony’s car indicate there were human remains in the trunk.

There might’ve been more inadmissible evidence. But they should’ve talked this stuff through with the judge ahead of time.

I mean, what the DA presented to the court was no cause of death and a a 4 week window of when Caylee died. That’s pretty weak all around.
