I bought in to both a couple years back, it looked like it was skyrocketing so I bought the last batch at 18k/bitcoin, I think? (I didn't buy a whole coin but it was 18k per coin IIRC).
Felt like an idiot for a couple years with both coins, then boom. It's hard to tell if it will happen again, but if it goes up up up over the years you'll think back on this.
I don't know what I would do, I'm not putting any more in right now.

eth has actual use and consistently leads the way in new development and technology.

bitcoin literally exists in finite supply.

Buy both. Get some skin in the game
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

My mate bought Bitcoin back in 2010. Wasted most of them, but has been hanging onto a chunk. He's holding for long term. 10years +

I refused to buy in at £5k, so I'm definitely not buying in a £30k out of principal. lol

if i was picking, I'd go with ETH.

it's value relative to that of BTC and that history, makes it seem ETH is undervalued at the moment and has a good bit of room for growth under this current run and most certainly as we look ahead a year or two.

Bitcoin long term. Eth is more riskier but the future of our systems. Bitcoin is the future of money. If you own an entire bitcoin you own 1 out of 21 million and eventuslly when entire world uses you’ll be super rich because no one will own an entire coin.
