Rate my Kobe steak meal/10

My local supermarket had this kobe steak so I decided to give it a try.

Cooked it at 128 sous vide for 1 hour. Finished on skillet with butter and thyme.

It was a quick meal so I served it with a baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon and some fresh sour kraut for the gut benefits. We had a glass of Decoy Cabernet. Of course a microwaved quest bar for dessert.

I could tell that by your kitchen cabinets, countertop, floor, dishes, wire management, etc.

ok good just making sure.

I dont even like playing with buying market ribeye im almost always sold a lie, buy prime and then get chewy fat and flavorless meat.
Usually just stick with filet and sirloin now to be safe, but prime rib roast usually is dependable.

Yes agreed. Its been hit or miss for prime for me. This was a miss. It was good and fatty but definitely not worth the 30/lb. The real thick cut Delmonico that we paid 13$ yesterday was better.

For reference this is the a5 I had. We cooked it on a Himalayan salt block.

Tasted like a prime quality steak. Personally I'd rather pay a USDA Prime steak and not this again. Overall 6.5*7/10

Interesting. Why do you rate it at a 6.5/7 out of 10? Do you think it was worth the price?
