How long can you hold your breath?

How long can you hold your breath?

I can do 2 minutes. No exhalation.

I could maybe push it further.

Tom Cruise alleges that he can do 6 minutes.

Even 1 minute is impressive IMO.

So how long can you go.

Can you make it the length of a full sized pool on one breath??
I have sampled every language and French is my favorite to curse in.

But I actively train it with apnea tables and breath up techniques since I’ve gotten into free diving and spearfishing


Underwater while hunting probably top out at like 60 seconds

I held my breath a few months ago and timed it and pushed out 2 mins. Was surprised I could get 2 mins to be honest. I was gunning for 1 minute.

Kind of surprised I got past 2 minutes considering I smoke a pack of unfiltered cigarettes a day.

The only time that matters is when you're rushed and in a panicked state. Most people would not last more than 20-25 seconds.

So I don't know, maybe do like 50 push-ups and get a pitbill to chase you down the street then jump into a pool and start timing.

Really easy to improve this my mom does Wim Hof techniques and can do over 3 and a half minutes.

Personally like 30 seconds tops.

You know I never thought about it but it's interesting that both main characters were swimmers.

Have you done the pushup challenge? Do as many pushups as you physically can. Then do the breathing exercise and do pushups after your exhale and hold. Can probably do 20% more pushups than the first time due to blood oxygenation
