I have an app that tracks this and I monitor my following to followers ratio daily to make sure my followers > following

I’ll ask them why and then unfollow them

Not something I take lightly

I write them a strongly worded letter that I send in the post. At the end I bid them farewell and remind them there is no redemption.

If it's someone I hardly knew, don't blame 'em.

If it's someone I used to know but haven't talked to in years, don't blame 'em.

If it's someone I know now, conversed recently, then yeah it's gonna sting but I won't reach out to them about it.

You should not even notice that someone unfollows you unless you purposely go out of your way to check to see who doesn't follow you. If you do then you need to see a therapist. srs

I take it very seriously on bodyspace, wouldn't want to lose any of the 70yo+ guys commenting positively on my 'sexy body'.

I used to have an excel spreadsheet I’d update and cross reference daily

But the apps they have make it so much easier to see who’s unfollowed you
