I actually work on a Covid unit, never posted about it on social media.

I feel like it's only the females that do this, it's annoying.

Even the female RN's who don't deal with Covid patients post about being a "hero"

It's not bad, I deal with more mild cases, it's a "covid psych" unit, so if **** gets real then we'll see...So far all the pt's have been psychiatrically "stable", more depressed/suicidal not manic/psychosis.

Since we know they have covid, it's easier to manage, full PPE/gloves/gown/masks/face shield/goggles.

Only a small number of our pt's even have symptoms, if they weren't checked they wouldn't even know they had it.
