New apartment dirty af (pics)

Fk boyos. Signed lease in Dallas Texas. Saw the pictures online. Me and two friends signed leases. Well I noticed some things at first. Like closet smelled like cat piss which they said they’ll clean in Monday. But now taking a closer look I noice the corners of the wall have clumps of hair, found a tooth pick against the wall, piece of glass. Everything is dirty up close. Going to talk them tomorrow. Want to switch units. Fk do I do?

Yeah for sure. Either way I’m blocking charges and reporting them and sending lawyer if they give me grief. I’m not worried. I’ll get out of it.

When I was living the apartment life, I would ALWAYS have it professionally pre-cleaned. Even if it looked clean, I don't trust scumlords. Have you seen the kind of people who live in those?

Usually paid about $500 for a couple cleaning ladies to go through and deep clean everything. Another $500 for the floors to be steam cleaned. A couple times the scumlord split it with me 50/50.

just moved in last 2 months. one of the places i looked at was fuking nasty inside, otherwise a nice place but needed cleaning and had lizard or roach turds around some of the sliding doors, hadnt been cleaned yet. Reject property manager insisted it would be clean before anyone moved in..... noped the fuk out of there, why didnt you clean it before you started showign it if you are going to have it cleaned retard. their promises are meaningless after you sign the lease
