Here's the deal: You have to know someone. Unless you have some God-tier skill that none else has and are extremely in demand, life is all about networking. The only position I've ever gotten where I didn't have experience and I didn't know someone was at Walmart in 2009 srsthis as well

I know a boyo that even lied about his education. Got a six figure position because he knew his chit even though he didn't have the degree he put on his resume. Did his job well and nobody ever asked questions

I took an absolute basement job, earning £14500/year. Once you're in though, you get the chance to showcase your talents. its hard to get a well paid job, but its easy to get a low paid job and turn it into a well paid job.

OP sounds like you're in the pre-career phase. Things like relevant education and relevant work experience start to play a large role trying to get your first job in the career.

First tip is to try for internships, even if they're unpaid... though paid exist and are preferred of course. Probably kinda obvious. But aside from that...

Look for job titles that contain words like "associate" or "assistant" in the industry you're considering.

If the industry is really giving you a hard time about work experience, try broadening/generalizing your considerations. Example being, if you wanted to be a Sys Admin, or a Database Engineer, and you're not finding inherent related jobs at the entry level, look into doing something broader like "IT Analyst" or "Desktop Engineering". And if you start out at a job like that, continue to work on certifications that are for your true goal, like for the Sys Admin idea get some Linux certifications or server management certifications. By the time you've got those certs, you'll also have "relevant" generic work experience to piggyback off of, and finally start the career.

Projects are the easiest way. When I got my first real job I had a projects (coding stuff, made a game, home server , etc) showcasing I know at least some stuff even with little work experience. Plus it shows great initiative for employers.

You can put anything on a resume and as long as you can back it up with some knowledge, you'll get a job. As long as you don't get a douche like me interviewing you and asking detailed questions.

Why don't you join the military? They don't require any experience and you can get experience while in.
