ITT A Movie Everyone Needs to See During These Times.

American History X

I saw this for the first time last night. I won't spoil the plot but basically it's a highly controversial/pull no punches film that explores racism and the perpetual cycle of hate in society and how it destroys all those who fall into it's trappings.

During this time of over-political correctness I really think a film like this needs to see theaters and widespread release among the masses.

This film truly has an important message for Americans

The trailer is weak, this movie is seriously fukkin dark brahs.

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Unhinged(2020) wasn't too great of a movie, felt kind of sloppy. However, it is an awesome reminder that you do not know who you are interacting with in your day to day life and to tread carefully.

Key takeaways from the movie : Treat everyone with respect (unless they act like fools, then walk away), always be prepared to defend yourself, always bet on bloat, and most important, always bet on strong independent single moms.

Supposedly in the original director's version, Derek shaves his head in the mirror at the end....

That's interesting, was not aware. In his position, I'd be torn between doing the same thing or keeping a lid on the hatred for the sake of my mom and sister(s?).

I felt like that would've been a cheap ending, they need to show this to kid's in high school srs.

I understand the perpetual cycle of hate, but it would've ruined all the character building and Derek's redemption in my opinion.
