The existence of TikTok just shows how flawed the US system is.
Did you know China bans ********, WhatsApp, ********, Snapchat, Instagram, Clubhouse, and heavily censors Google?
Meanwhile we allow TikTok (a Chinese company) to operate in our country with impunity.
I'm getting strong parallels to the 1800s when Britain used China as a captive market for their opium. They used this addictive substance to destroy China while generating huge profits.
Looks like China has learned their lesson from 150 years ago and is now doing the same thing to the USA.

This is one of those examples. We should ban TikTok and other Chinese social media from our country until they are willing to comply with our norms by allowing our companies to operate there.
