What made your arms grow?

And how long did it take

I'm trying to take my arms from 16" to 17" this year

And 18s by 2023

What kind of workouts forced your arms to grow?

^ and all variations on it

Dumbbell/reverse/close grip etc

Amazing for biceps, just stay safe never go too heavy

For triceps I have had best results from getting strong on dips and high rep tricep rope extensions

I love old school photos like this. Big strong man not afraid to work. Great no nonsense clothes. Some style but ready to work. No time for nonsense video gsmes. Gardinging like a proud man, but also Never smoked marijuana in those days. Has a big bulge or "penis" and proud of it. Today's generation of men are so shy and afraid to talk to women. Meanwhile its the opposote for the women they have their boobs out at a drop of a hat.

4 Things:

1. Getting brutally strong on close grip bench press with partials, no need to go all the way down to chest, but a full lockout is required.
2. Weighted Neutral Pull Ups/Chin Ups
3. Dedicated Arm days - Skull crushers, french PRESS, close grip, preacher curls, chin ups etc.
4. Training arms is different to legs/chest etc, the bro's are right when it comes to arms, partial reps, keeping tension on the bicep, high rep pump training works the best.

Nope you don't have to work arms directly even if all you do is bodyweight.

Good luck with those dumb-bell curls in front of a mirror.

Curious though, you're only hitting the major compounds once a week. Did it not impact your ability to progressive overload effectively?

Incline hammer curls are the only thing that ever worked to give thickness and width to my arms. Slow and controlled both ways.

The opposite of this.

Do heaps of volume on arm exercises. High volume, drop sets, etc

Heavey cheat curls with straight Oly Barbell.

Keep your elbows tucked into the side of your abdomen.

Preachers and / or concentration curls to supplement.

You're welcome.

So I tried heavy weight, and realized that 60% was better for me personally with a ton of sets. Find 4 or 5 machines and do 4 sets on each plus free weights.

Weighted dips and handstand push ups worked wonders for my triceps, biceps just get as strong as you can on heavy curls.
