Going to start taking the gym seriously (srs)

Never been consistent or taken it seriously, just cared about being lean. During Rona I’ve actually been able to be consistent, at least when the gyms have been open. Back in the gym on Monday after a bit over 2 months of them being closed. (Avi is recent after 7 weeks of not lifting, currently like 2% bf leaner tho)

All time prs are 415 HB squat, 245-250 bench and 535-540 dead. Had a home gym setup during summer and could only do deads, and added 100lbs to it in 13 weeks (srs). Can’t say how long I’ve lifted total I’ve been that inconsistent, but doubt it’s any longer than 2 years. Bench has also been an issue in the past from not eating enough, but was making noob gains before recent gym shut downs.

Mainly wanna see how strong I can get but interested in how thick, solid, tight I can get too, tbfh...

Don’t care for taking ‘before’ pics mainly cus deflated af from no gym rn, but will update thread in the future if I remember with progress (srs)

Just wanna see how much weight I can pick up and put back down if I actually try, mane

But really tho, the last couple months off from the gym made me realize I now really enjoy lifting and especially getting stronger, so I’d regret not seeing what my actual strength potential is, tbfh...

Thanks brah right back at you, thick af serratus you have there

And yes sort of. In avi was last May and I was about 202-203lbs. Since then I’ve gotten up to around 210lbs but similarly lean, and much stronger. Put muscle in the right places/weak points. I’m hoping to recomp like I did last year with super strict macros (last year went from 205 -> 202-203lbs). So wanting to stay the same weight with all my muscle just at this slightly heavier weight

For most people it doesn’t and most normal people won’t be able to tell any slight difference. But for me it’s so fulfilling, similar to guys who love cars or rock climbing etc
