Days Gone isn't that bad...

Bought it on sale and actually enjoying it even though it's a bit of a pain in the ass to ride everywhere and the main character is pretty fukkin annoying.

I'm sure the bugs are all fixed by now (only had one in a cutscene with an invisible bike). All bugs aside, not sure why this game was trashed on reviews. It's pretty solid and looks nice. Main character is fukkin lame sure and the biker gang chit is kinda cringe but the gameplay is pretty fun.

Story and characters are cliched to hell and the story kind of drags (and lots of bugs at launch) are some of it. But I think the main reason it got ripped so much is a straight, white male saved the day.

It's in my top 5 PS4 era games.


It got slept on HARD due to extremely mediocre reviews from cuck sites like IGN.

It was one of my favorite games of last year (along w/ Persona 5). It's one of the best story games I've played in a long time, and some of the songs on the soundtrack are excellent.

It's not bad at all. I've been one of the biggest supporters of it since I got it a few months prior to the ps5 release, then even more so on the ps5. Game's a total gem.

Seems like a decent zombie game but I find zombies to be very boring enemies, the combat always surrounds getting bum rushed all the time.

I mean, no, of course not. The problem is so many people thinking a low 70's overall critic score is BAD. It's not bad. And the user score is in the 80's.

A game being "good" doesn't mean it needs a 90+ overall critic score. One of my favorite games of the last year (Paper Mario Origami King) has an 80 overall critic score. I'm enjoying the Medium, and it has a metascore in the low 70's, although higher in steam reviews.

Critic scores matter, but don't solely determine whether a game is good or bad.

It's a good game ... I never finished it, but got halfway ... It's just completely unnecessary imo, another open world game that plays it safe and doesn't really do much other than refine the overall experience compared to other open worlds and adds a few cool twists such as the big amount of zombie hordes.

it was an enjoyable game and i loved the scenery.

oregon is starting to look a lot like the game with all the antifa protestors who are kinda like the zombie horde lol.

Yes, absolutely. RDR2 has some of the most clunky and unsatisfying outdated game mechanics outside of Bathesda games.

GTA 5 is definitely way better than Days Gone. It's not even Rockstar's best open world game, but GTA V did an incredible job with its open world despite being many years older. It's probably one of the best open worlds ever made.

Immortal Fenyx Rising is on par with Days Gone. Going back even further, Skyrim and Oblivion is still better than Days Gone or even any other open world released recently. Mad Max is about the same as Days Gone and I love that game. The majority of these open world games are just nothing more than massive sand box games where you get a check list of things to complete. Rockstar and Bethesda are the only two companies that come to mind that actually give a fuk to make these worlds these worlds have a semblance of life.

And that lots of good games are made by a variety of companies, and it's silly to be a fanboy of the makers of your favorite plastic box.

It's fine to have preferences in what you consume, but the only thing the games that you adore have in common is that they are published by the same corporation. That's why you are a fanboy.

Dude when is the last time you played it? On pc it's still a top tier game craphically and for game play and driving. Online is still populated and they still release content even if it is a pay to win scheme. Days gone is no where near it for any aspect of game play. Shooting in gta is still better, driving, graphics, ai...basically every aspect. Days gone is impressive with the amount of zombies it puts on screen I'll give it that. But literally in no other aspect is it better then gta. And this is before you even enter the world of mods.

Gta seems like an old game to you cause you play on console straight up. The gta console experience is laughable at best. I played that **** when it launched on 360 and again on x1 and lmaooooo when I played on pc I realized how cucked it was for consoles.

that comment wasn't even in regards to me, nor was it long ago. It was just a post that the only reason to buy a switch was to play in a vehicle or something.
