yeah even recently in 1816 it was called a year without a summer because that Indonesian volcano erupted in 1815 and a bunch of people died in europe because it was too cold for crops and they also froze to death

edit: I think it was a solar minimum too

Watched a documentary a while back with Tommy Lee Jones in LA. That volcano sure was troublesome.
