Am I gonna die inflating old paintball tanks?

I got a few carbon fiber paintball tanks from 99 to 06 born on. I got a compressor coming in the mail, am I gonna die if I blow them up to like 1500 psi? Obv not going to try and play at a field but I need to check my guns for leaks and make sure they work before I blow some money on a new tank. They're past hydro but how much does that mean?

why not get a new tank and test your guns witht hat?

who the fuk is keeping and selling 20 yr old tanks anyway?
