Doing anything interesting with weights?
So since the gyms have been closed for most people and it's basically been adapt or die fat:
What have you guys been doing to stay in shape? Anything interesting?
For example I've been deep in the kettlebells and honestly I'm having a really good time with the explosive movements and I'm noticing a definite change in musculature but not in a gain/loss type of thing but in a different kind of thickness/hardness.

I got tired of looking up dumb exercises for my back on youtube so I bought 200lbs of sand and a $80 sandbag from those strongman competitions. Best purchase ever
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

Gyms are open here but I'm hard into a cut right now, taking a break from strength focused training for awhile. Been going hard on a Push/Legs/Pull split 6x a week, also adding in biceps and rear delts to the first push day to get some extra volume
Actually been having a lot of fun with it

I have a pull up/dip tower at home and dipping belt so I just do dips and pull ups and high rep squats ( with dip belt).

Dont ever want the rest of these wanna-be's at work to be back taking up space!!

Kettlebells are really awesome as well. I used to go to these SFG classes that were all kettlebell based, I love all the movements I think they are great for explosiveness and for grip strength especially

I actually had the worst time squating in general from years of poor habits to the point where I had weirdly developed legs. I literally just tore everything down and rebuilt my program with kettle bell squat and clean variations mixed with the old standards. I'll do wide stance squat clean and press with the kettle bells and mix that with a closer stance front squat and RDLs. We're 4 weeks in and I can say that my legs while smaller and more quad-dominant have been way quicker and more flexible and most importantly no knee pain so I'm liking where I'm going with it.

Started streaming some barre classes with 3 pound weights and have been surprised by how much I enjoy it. Guess you can't take the basic out of the b.
