Should the police be defunded?
I think they should for a year at least to see effects. Minneapolis’ decision to refund them after 3 months was too emotional and visceral. It takes time to re allocate money into education and infrastructure. They might’ve been legitimately surprised at the impact building a park with green grass in black communities could’ve had as opposed to more oppressive police presence srs

We need to get rid of welfare and HUD and EEOC and stuff like that. And fire most people who work in gov't.
