So Google wants your ID or CC details to view YouTube vids (Only in Europe for now)

Seems overkill to stop us from watching Looksmaximus ASMR videos. But apparently, google has been implementing this for months in Europe already... but lettuce bee cereal this is going global.
YouTube announced a new expansion to its age-verification requirements in Europe. The video-sharing service said some users in the region will need to confirm their age in the coming months before they are able to watch age-restricted content. These requirements include a valid ID or credit card indicating that the user is above the age of 18.
I did lul at this reddit****s predicament.




But this will affect us all. Can any Eurobrahs confirm that they can still watch naked yoga on YT?

it's also interesting how I've been getting those weirdo scam pyramid scheme ads before videos all the time lately which doesn't seem to a problem to them and at the same time they require an id to watch harmless chit
