I was a fat kid and got it from puberty. Lost the weight and had abs starting at 15, but they never went away.

4-6 weeks no lifting, then back in the gym. It was painful for the first week to even open doors, but gradually got better. What sucked the most was having to sleep on my back, as I'm a side sleeper.

Holy **** I think I'd just go to Mexico or something and risk death before I'd pay 9k for it. Seems like it's almost nothing for the surgeon based on videos

Yes. Insurance only coverrs people who do surgery for cancer/tumors and ****. They don't care how it looks, they'll just get it out. A cosmetic surgeon cares how you look and is an expert on it. Worth the cost for me.

If they **** it up, they can't un**** it up and you're screwed for life. I've been thinking about it since I was a teenager and in my late 20s was fortunately well off enough financially to go to the best. Some people do go to Mexico and get it done cheaply and get great results, but I didn't wanna take the risk.

Same. Only 1 side tho. Cycling made that side temporarily worse, nothing happened to the side that never had it. Annoying af

It honestly wasn't THAT bad, like other people wouldn't notice. Plenty of guys going around with that level of gyno who don't care. But it bothered me; even when I leaned down and had abs, the bottom part of my chest was flabby, esp when warm.

He left a little in since apparently if you pull the whole thing out it will look caved in and unnatural. Not sure if that's true but I trusted his judgement.

got it done for free in 2011. Best decision ever.

I had it since puberty, i actually thought working out would get rid of it until i discovered what it actually was. Discovering my boobs were gynecomastia is what made me discover the misc, i googled it and found a thread here.

Also to those wondering, cycling doesn't bring it back. Never has remotely.

I noticed people like to travel long distances to find the best surgeons. Is this surgery easily botched by mediocre doctors?
It was all just satire. Sorry if I offended anyone with my trolling and sickening posts. Peace and love to everyone.

From what I can tell, no. In terms of plastic surgery, this seems to be one of the easiest, most straight forward procedures with minimal risks of complication.

That's not true. Just google botched gyno surgeries. A miscer made a thread a few weeks ago with pics of how bad they looked. As OP mentioned, if too much is taken out it can cause a sunken look.

Example

It took maybe an hour or two, no idea because I was knocked the **** out from anesthesia.

$9000

4-6 weeks

Research here and there for years, then serious research to find a surgeon for a month.

I was constantly pinching my nips to make them hard whenever I was shirtless, and worried how it looked in tight shirts. If you're fat no one notices, but when you're in shape and have them they stand out.

I think cheaper surgeons can do a fine job, but why take a chance when someones literally carving something out of your body.

My understanding is that this is why you should lean out before you do it. I've been tempted before, but you turn it from science into a mystical art when you are still a fat **** and he has to determine how much to leave behind for support etc.

My assumption is that the vast majority of people who do get this procedure are still obese
