I have a receding hairline and make sure to not hat fish because I don't want to mislead girls

I don't think it'd be fair to hat fish someone and show up with a receding hairline when the girl would have otherwise not matched with me had I been honest about my hair

I'd hate to be cat fished so I show the same respect to other users on the app

My first ever profile pic on the misc, I was wearing a hat and everyone's accusing me of being a baldcel, Norwood etc.. I didn't even know what that stuff meant and was genuinely perplexed that people would just assume I was bald because I was wearing a hat. Gradually I became aware and learned the ways of the misc though and how the levels of neuroticism surrounding insecurities is really unparalleled anywhere else.

I guess it's just as bad if you show up and the girl is a lot heavier; as if a girl shows up and the guy is completely bald and if the guy is "hat fishing" i assume he's still trying to hold on and not embracing it and going full razor bald

Never wanted to hatfish, and didn't even want to become "a hat guy," but damn, this first winter has been chilly. Might wind up hatfishing inadvertently because I always wear hats now.

I wind up wearing hats around the house all day. No baldbrahs warned me about this.
