JFL if your piss isn't crystal clear

it's a simple FACT of dehydration that if your piss has colour in it then you're dehydrated,

the ONLY time this is excusable is for the first and second pisses after waking up, after that you should fukin man up and chug a litre of water before starting your day, if you don't then you're not doing it right

visited a tradie site some years ago and one of the supervisors had put up a piss colour chart over the toilet to inform his tradies of their dehydration levels (100% srs, fukin tradies man), he even signed his name on the laminated sheet,

That's conventional wisdom.

The new idea is that having clear piss isn't exactly "good" because water also leaches out minerals from EVERYTHING (not only human bodies).

Having clear piss could very well mean that water has taken out as many minerals from your body as is possible for it to take.

I don't know which way is right, but "conventional wisdom" has been proven to be a scam many times before (Food Pyramid is a great example).

Obviously drinking water is good for you, but there's also a point where it becomes bad (like everything else).

Maybe that point is way sooner than people have been led to believe?
