The steak looks and sounds great but that quinoa concoction sounds like flavor town.

Steaks I only sous vide when preparing from frozen. I bought 5lbs of ribeyes and 5lb of porterhouse at $5.99/lb on a promotion and froze all of it. The magic of sous vide is really for things like chuck roasts and chicken breast where it allows you to do things you can't with other cooking methods.

Also propane is the best daily driver. I have a long and fruitful relationship with propane that I hope to continue indefinitely.

I can do guacamole but that's about it when it comes to avocados. Not a fan

Tzatziki and feta go good on just about anything. I very rarely eat eggs without feta. Going to make another loaf of gyro this week

Huge fan. Would recommend everyone switch to non-serrated steak knives if willing to use other surfaces besides porcelain.

Horse radish + beef is hard to beat. Cheesesteak eggrolls + horseradish comes to mind

It varies widely around me up to as much as $14/lb for ribeye, but I usually can find these sorts of deals every few weeks and stock up.
