Broke if off with fwb last night. Feelsbadman

Been hanging out with this woman for little over a year now. [Also used to be coworkers]

I've always been 100% upfront that I wanted nothing more than fwb. Never deceived or lied to her or led her on that I ever wanted more.

Shes gotten extremely attached.
She got really drunk last time we hangout and spewed out how much she was in love with me and I was the only guy she can ever see herself with.
Will text me 20+ times w/o a response from me.


Have wanted to break it off in the past. But honestly I was kind of a chump and let her guilt/manipulate me into keeping it going.

Last night I put my foot down and told her I didn't wanna see her anymore.
She pulled the guilt/manipulate/talked of suicide cards.

I kept strong.
Shes a cool chick. I enjoyed her company for the most part.

Wish me luck guys.

In comparison to me she's very sexually inexperienced. And I don't think we really clicked sexually as much as she thinks we did. If that makes sense?
I'm a bit of a degenerate and would prefer someone more sexually open and experienced.



She also ALWAYS wanted to go grab food and drink.
I'm not a big drinker, and don't particularly like restaurant food.
I'm big into working out. Shes Def not.

We didn't really share a lot of the same interests and passions either. So really it was never going to work out.

Did the same thing like a month or so ago. Had a FWB from the gym throughout quarantine, we were smashing like 3x a week for the past year. Admitted to me that she loved me and wanted to be exclusive, but I was like I'm not interested. I told her she was an incredible person and she was super nice, however I didn't think we were right for each other, and it wouldn't work. She got super upset and angry at me, she hasn't been the same since. I get death stares in the gym srs.

I've ran into a few people (yes this includes guys) that have that "style" of texting or messaging people. Your chick is just psycho and not getting the hint, but I have ran into people who break their thoughts up into multiple messages as a way of typing. You come back to your phone and it looks like you got blown up, when in reality that's just how they "talk" in messages. I want to screen capture and post some examples, but that's too much work. LOL

I agree with your course of action OP. Hinting at wanting more is one thing, but flat out saying it is a death sentence and there's no way to come back from that. Plus if you continue to see her after she's been clear on her intentions, that becomes your fault and not hers. The fact that she wasn't even really your speed in bed makes it a no brainer.

Bro, I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I have a fwb I've known for about 6 years. We used to always mess around then we both met other people and got into more serious relationships. Well, recently me and fwb have been seeing each other again, and we've both fallen headlong into it. Idk what to do, honestly.

I used to talk like this, but all of my friends did back in the AIM days. I’d say a lot of people who grew up socializing on the internet spoke like this.

Spent a lot of my time socializing on Warcraft 3 chat rooms as a kid/teen.
