Not a bad thing, just been wondering lately why they've taken off in the west compared to other kpop acts. I think its
1) 3/4 member speak english
2) Lots of collabs with western stars like selena, cardi b, lady gaga
3) Sexier dressing than most kpop groups (1 member especially likes to sloot it up)
4) Lots of english parts in their songs

Imagine my shock seeing a BlackPink thread on the Misc. Love these girls. If you guys have the time, check out their music. They're Kpop but their music is pop music you'd hear during the good days of pop music mixed with some other genres.

But the reason they're more popular in the west than other Kpop girl groups, or any girl group for that matter, is because their sound is more in line with western tastes. Also, they don't act like little girls with learning disabilities like some Kpop acts.
