Strict 225 OHP > 350 Bench.
Only because I've gotten to 205 OHP while getting 365 bench.

225 overhead isn't that hard. It's just nobody ever trains the damn lift.

When I was benching 315 at 19 I was able to overhead press 225. That is when my strength peaked, nowadays at 24 I could probably put up 250lbs for a single on bench and 165 on overhead press for a single. My shoulders have always been a stronger point for me though, my chest is and always has been a lagging body part for me. But anyway I would have thought a 350 bench was more impressive because I was able to overhead press 225 when my bench wasn’t near 350.

I could probably work up to a 225 OHP within a decent time frame if I trained for it - I cannot bench 350 and not sure if I ever will. Like the poster above me said, the OHP is not as hard, it’s just so rarely ever trained.

My rotator cuff is ****ed though feels fine on OHP but wants to completely give in on bench.
