not bad for pilot, kind of a drama/comedy like Weeds

i could do w/o all the teen stuff but seems funny enough so far

Binged the entire series this past weekend. Very easy watching. And by that I mean you can go through all the episodes without much thought and just be slightly entertained. The High School stuff is cringe, but the mom is interesting because she's batsh-t crazy but in a "I'll protect my kids at any cost" type of way.

I wouldn't say it's bad, but I wouldn't say it's great either. It's a hot topic right now with the Taylor Swift line that ticked her off (she goes through more guys than Taylor Swift ... or something like that) and the oppression olympics scene of the half black/half white girl and the Asian guy .... so it does have it's moments. Watch it and let me know what you guys think.

It looks like the black guy who knocked her up,ditched her, and abandoned their daughter, is still portrayed as the good guy, and the single mom is portrayed as the victim of white men (they show her tensing up (ptsd lolol) when a fat white cop was walking by). The deadbeat dad is described as the "only man she loved" while she leans against him and he lovingly kisses her on the head.

Kids are going to watch this, see how everyone is complimenting the mother on how cool and attractive she is, and think they want to be like her. Sad world.

You People who get triggered by Societal breakdown and hypocrisy should really start watching Gore. It changes your perspective on reality, you stop caring about Human dignity or empathy
