Also just got a small batch (350) of AMC. If I chit the bed on that one it's only 3k.

I took a break from stocks after the whole GME thing. I was a hairs breadth away from buying at the top but got a bad feeling and backed out.

Sold everything else at a profit and now trying to re-evaluate with all the volatility.

Much of the stock price was already priced in. Stock price is the future expectation of financial performance based on currently available info and market pressure. It’s not always totally accurate. It’s a gamble.

Like, why did GME go up so much?

And it was down for a long time. It’s only a few who can call it before it happens which is why everyone pretending to know right now just watched a few YouTube vids about it. It’s volatile in this market, and tons of stocks have been doing stuff like GME for a year. But everyone isn’t a millionaire. Duh

Also it’s easy to talk about a company whose stock price is up, after the fact, and cite their financial statements when a year ago you would have never bought it.
