As the USA becomes more diverse, the more democrat presidents we will have.

Nevada and GA are good examples of this. They were once republican beacons, who voted for Bush X2 and had mostly Republican senators. Both states are now majority non-white. Both states voted for Joe Biden and both have 2 democrat senators each.

But people don't know that Philippines used to be #1 in Asia. Koreans and Japanese back in the 1950s and 1960s thought Manila was the future (semi-serious). Now many Filipinos live in literal shacks and many girls I know there have like 8 uncles / aunts (and they always seem to have at least 4 siblings).

Not keen to wade into an ethics of abortion debate but, we all know women are more likely to vote for liberal policies, which is mostly due to ensuring their reproductive rights. This is the most important thing to a lot of women.

Women make up 51% of the population, you may never have another republican president if women don’t vote with you.

In the UK, abortion rights are not under threat so a huge amount of women felt confident to vote conservative and bring the government to the largest conservative majority in about 30 years.

You need women to vote republican, scaring women with the potential removal of abortion rights will force a lot of women to hold their nose and vote liberal. Only with men and women united in voting intentions will you be able to undo the surge of liberal votes from immigrants and the queer community.

Mine and many other’s main issue isn’t women getting abortions (although I do find it disgusting), it’s with them being funded by the government. Free or reduced cost abortions and birth control pills are not a “reproductive right”.

Sheesh, these numbers look like they're by (D)esign. It's almost as if the powers that be (D)on't want black people reproducing. What happened here? There are so many layers to this it's almost hard to peel them all back. This is truly sad when you think about it. The destruction of the nuclear family, particularly the black nuclear family, has been tragic. I'm not really sure how you can deeply analyze why this is happening and not come away with the idea that there are truly evil forces working behind the scenes and scheming this kind of stuff up.

I appreciate that, however if women can’t have abortions or birth control, you will end up paying a lot more through welfare, foster care etc. These kids aren’t wanted, they aren’t wanted before they are born and they will certainly not be wanted after they are born.

If you are worried about subsidising this though taxation, it’s firstly cheaper to prevent pregnancies and then cheaper to end pregnancies than it would be to add that many unwanted kids into the care system.

Economically speaking you are correct in theory. And I don’t have the solution right now to the welfare reform that needs to take place. But, just because something is cheaper and will save us money does not make it right. Those “unwanted” children are wanted by others. Maybe we should go back to teaching that sex has consequences instead of giving the “you go girl” attitude towards the current behavior.

I also watched freakonomics but I’m not sure their premise is 100% correct. I think banning abortion might also have the other effect of making people more cautious about their sexual encounters. This may solve the bigger problem by itself
