Why did they give Hogan such a poverty finishing move??
Possibly/probably the most iconic wrestler of all time. So what finishing move should he get??
Human torture rack?? Nah
Scorpion death lock?? Nah
Sharpshooter? Nah
Figure 4? Nope
Boston crab? Lol no
Powerbomb? Nope
DDT? Nah
How about if he just runs and then jumps up and drops his leg on them? PERFECT!

There's nothing more manly than pounding your 100lb leg on someone's neck as they breath in heavily and catch a whiff of your old man balls and ass sweat, BROTHER.

The move itself was pretty lame and unimaginative but I will say he did make it look pretty stylish and was able to get some decent height and hang time on it given his size. I believe this was before age and injuries caught up with him though.

He actually talks about it in the stone cold podcast how he regretted having the pythons but his finisher was a leg drop.

Times were different, brah. Movesets were sort of basic in Hogan's early WWF run. Also remember that Hogan would set up the leg drop with a body slam. So really his finisher was body slam + atomic leg drop.

People's elbow and rock bottom is hot garbage of finishers. Only reason The Rock got away with it was because he charismamaxxed.
