thankfully both police officers and civilian were not killed. usually not so lucky when the perp gets the jump

Liberals are reviewing whether force was justified against the criminal. Blood was spattered, but deadly force may not have been justified.

hard to watch, dude dropped his arms twice with a cop pointing a gun at him. This definitely resulted in the shooting, if his hands were up the entire time I doubt he would have been shot at all. The officer should have waited for backup before moving in if he believed the suspect was armed.
