i don't get why the media is making COVID anal swabs to be a bad thing

misc as many of you know there is media attention regarding china performing anal swab covid tests on visitors and there is a lot of outrage. maybe i'm a minority on this but i'd rather have a q-tip in my anus than up my nose.

also after the vaccine everyone will be required to take these weekly tests to confirm it works

I heard that the test probe is like 8 inches long and pretty girthy

Also they can’t use lube because it compromises the accuracy of the test

I save the *******s the money of the test. I shove a finger in my butt, then put it by their nose. I ask them to sniff and if they can smell it, then they are negative for Covid.

Just anal wouldn't be so bad, what's really disconcerting is how they need to also swab your nostril immediately after. Why not do the nose first at least?
