Drivers hauling hazardous loads make 6 figures.
Flatbed drivers make a decent amount too.

If you work for a company and drive their truck it’s like 55 cents a mile give or take

If you own and operate your own truck it’s a lot more,that’s probably where you start making good money.

Repairs are expensive af..a lot of truckers will say they made 20k/monthly but that’s before the repairs and fuel costs


If you own 4-5 trucks and dispatch them you’ll be ceo 10k/day

There’s money in it for sure.

Being a truck driver is a fairly easy career, where you can make some good money. You just have to live on the road and be alone all the time, to make good money.

So do it for a couple years, save up enough to buy your own truck, then hire someone else to drive it. Thats a path to success for people without a college degree, but most tradies are dumb and probably buy jet skis instead.

roughly $1-$1.50 per mile profit after all expenses (fuel, repairs, insurance, etc). this is if youre an owner-operator. Most truckers do 15-20k miles per month. if youre driving for a company, youre looking at around 0.60 per mile.

There's a massive shortage of drivers right now. I looked into this.

How are you finding drivers that want to drive some ghetto 40k truck? There's company that are paying .65 cents a mile and will put you in a brand new volvo with a fridge and satellite television.
