Religion, conspiracies, alternative history are all forms of cope

Life on hard mode, is when you stop the b.s. and just accept the mainline narrative on major topics. There is no conspiracy. I think denying history is ridiculous unless youve done the scholarly work to justify it which no one does. I would also add metaphysics into religion, so if youre into magic or law of attraction types of things.
