7yr old Dobie. Has had diarrhea last 2 days. Today noticed some blood in his poo. Also not getting any better.

Wish us luck!

It's weird with dogs, could be simple or could be serious. We went thru similar with my mutt and gave her a bland diet for a few days plus some pumpkin and cleared up. She was tested of course. Hopefully it's that easy for you as well.

Given some metronidazole antibiotics. Vet thinks gastrointestinal infection.

Sounds like an infection and they’re gonna give him some amoxi or other kind of antibiotic. Maybe they take stool sample and change diet but probably not

I have a 3 dogs, I’ve seen it all
