Worked christmas eve every year too. Got a $5 bonus and that shift sucks because you gotta do a deep clean of the entire store and shut stuff down since christmas was the only day they ever closed the whole year.

yeah there is a "raw cost" sheet that I would have to fill out at the end of every shift where I had to count the waste for things that got burnt or were in the UHC trays for too long and had to be thrown out and nuggets were a couple cents. They were looking for a reason to fire the guy for a while and just happened to catch him. They trapped him basically. The manager came to us and said she was going to be gone for 5 minutes and to call her if something happened. She went outside and came back in and went straight to the garbage can and pulled out the wrapper with ketchup on it he used to dip the nugget in and asked him wtf is this. Its like she knew.They were strict at my store about waste. If things disappear its called a "stat loss". And it happens when people either dont track the stuff they throw away, or track the free food to customers that complain, or from theft.

This one manager had a scam going for a while and it took them a while to figure out what was happening. He would take a 40 pound box of frozen 1/10 pound burger patties and put it in a garbage bag and put it in the big garbage cart and wheel it out to the dumpster and while out there taking the trash out he would put the meat in his car and then come back inside and clock out and go home. He was a good dude but he had like 5 or more little kids and I think he was struggling since his wife stayed at home to watch the little kids

No.Never. There was one coworker that did though and they caught him. The customer was a dude his gf cheated on him with. The guy ordered mcchickens and he spit in one and the customer looked at all the food because he saw who made it and he found the spit and showed the manager. He got fired on the spot after she reviewed the camera

Another coworker took a bite out of a sandwich and wrapped it up and sent it down. It was a hamburger for a happy meal. The customer never came back to complain so idk what happened

I had coworkers that I swear would do **** wrong on purpose to stress me out, like hand off wrong food to customers so I would have to stop making the order I was making and remake the disappeared food throwing me off, etc tons of stuff like that

One time I was working in the grill and I watched with my own eyes this girl take the breakfast biscuits out of the microwave to transfer it to the oven and she looked around real quick and then said "woops" and then dropped the biscuits on the floor. We were out of biscuits and they took 12 minutes to bake in the oven and 2 minutes to thaw out and you could only do one tray of 12 at a time in the microwave. She said "woops" a good second or so before she dropped the biscuits. I told her I saw what you did you did that **** on purpose. She said no I didnt. I said yes you fukin did, why did you do that do you think its funny? and she cried and the manager yelled at me

I used to order 50 cheeseburgers on the days where they were 35 cents and get them half off and I would take them home put them in the fridge and live off them for 2 days

Overnight crew was worthless, I hated working with them

One job I never had was working at fast food unless you call Pizza Hut fast food. People talk chit about people who get jobs there and yes, by in large loserville BUT if you go there, just do your job, you are better than 80% of the people they get, if you stay a while and apply yourself you can move up. Although they often pay "managers" crap pay, it gets you a management position on your resume and can help you get real jobs.
