Entrepreneurship has the greatest variability.
Sure you can make $60k/year but your % of the company could also grow to be valued at $6 billion+.
You will never that kind of coin working for someone else. Outside of becoming a CEO comp typically caps out at $1m. Obviously that can provide a great life but you need a % to build real massive wealth Imo.

i do agree that nothing beats being your own boss though

Really the only way to get wealthy is through high paid specialized work (medicine, law, high end programmer) and save like a mother ****er. Even then those that get rich really do so through entrepreneurship aka partner at their firm, own a medical practice, have equity in a business, etc. other way is become an executive of a business (C suite, not upper management) but even then, no guarantees OR true entrepreneurship
It’s no surprise capitalism rewards those who own capital. Having someone else pay you is a way to a good life, but you won’t become wealthy that way. People think doctors are wealthy, they really aren’t. Someone making 80k a year and saving 25% of their income will have a similar net worth at retirement to the average physician for example
