Vindel never even got out of his car, Lopinto said. He was apparently killed as he sat behind the wheel.

“When (Harvey) entered the vehicle, the victim was in the front seat, and at one point (Harvey) pushed him in(to) the back seat so he could drive the vehicle properly,” Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Capt. Jason Rivarde told People magazine. “He drove it 20 minutes away.”

Harvey then removed the dirt bike from its trailer and drove it back to his apartment.

The bike was found on Harvey’s patio, Rivarde said. The alleged murder weapon was found inside his apartment.

FB marketplace links the seller to the buyer's FB page, so he should have made a logical decision and not agreed to sell the bike to the guy or at least do it in a busy area. Same with craigslist. Guy was too trusting. If I'm selling something where the buyer has to come to my house, just make sure there are others.

its the fact that the offender thought he could get away with it by driving the car with the body back to town and riding home on the dirt bike

The Dindu is definitely stupid. I didn't read how they caught him, but evidence of the transaction, buyer and seller talking to each other on messenger, basically would make it an easy investigation.

But yeah, I don't like randoms coming to the house. So the product would have to be so inconvenient that a house meeting is the only way to go. If you sell on FB marketplace, you get to evaluate these guys.

Been to sketch houses to buy weight plates, computer parts, etc before but really try to avoid it from some sketch **** I’ve saw. Recently went to a dudes house to buy something and he said his wife would be there to do the transaction. Like wtf cuz, wouldn’t let my wife meet some stranger at my crib to buy chit of CL. She invited me in and all that, was seriously sketched. Went off fine, but I hope she had a shotty behind the couch or something.

It was a coral for a saltwater aquarium. Dude said he’d have it bagged and ready so I had money in my hand. But wife had to get down on her knees in short shorts down into the sump of his really nice setup to get it since it wasn’t ready, had to avert my eyes out of principal since she was nice af and also I was super paranoid at this point.

Yeah.. went to some dudes apartment in this complex to buy weights, and NIGHT, in a complex I knew was ghetto as hell. His apartment was bare as **** so I assume he was selling things off for possibly drugs since he looked like a druggy and acted high. Had some other dude like watching over... sort of sad since guy said he used to lift, even had protein powder on top of his fridge (almost the only thing in the apt) that he offered to sell, but it was way expired.
