Regaining bench strength after cutting (reps)
So let’s say I dropped 10lbs of lard and then got back to my old bench strength while putting on minimal/negligible blubber from that point. I should expect to have gained a noticeable amount of muscle from that, right?
I recently dieted while not being able to lift at all but that’s besides the point ://

Except you can get stronger without gaining any noticeable muscle mass fairly easily

Blubber directly adds to bench strength so if I had the same amount of muscle but lost fat, I’d be weaker. So being lighter and moving the same weight means progress was made somehow
