How do you deal with solicitors?

Nothing too crazy but I get like 1 or 2 a week, somebody knocking at my door for no reason
We’re all gonna make it.

Don't answer them or just say you're not interested.

Ring doorbell, and I just ignore the door when it's someone I don't know or not expecting.
Being anti-2nd Amendment is like saying "We have too many rights, please take some away!"

“Please Do Not Disturb” across door works best.
Srs.
Better than “no soliciting”

I honestly used to get really annoyed and would act hostile towards door to door salesman/solicitors, but I realized that for a lot of them its just a job and they are being forced to go out there. Yeah they can quit but a lot of people don't have that opportunity and really need the money. I've been trying to be more polite these days.

This is a cool story bro -- one time a guy ignored my sign to try to sell me something. I don't know what got into me, but I verbally went off on him pretty good. Like, "Don't you see my sign?!" And a bunch of other stuff was said.

Five minutes later I felt guilty and tracked the guy down a block away to apologize.
They’re just trying to make a buck and an income. They could be out there robbing people but they’re instead trying to make a sale.

So I’m not too ugly to them. Depending on how big a horse **** they’re selling or how bad a mood I’m in, I just say no thanks.

I live in a gated community.
I have a ring doorbell.
I ignore anyone who’s not Amazon, FedEd, UPS, or USPS.

I never answer for someone knocking at the door unless I'm either expecting them (i.e. a visitor or delivery driver), or if it appears to be a neighbor or package delivery guy needing me to sign something. srs. I don't have the time or patience to deal with any asssclowns trying to sell me chit at my doorstep or trying to get me join their weird religion.

Not to mention, while this isn't always the case, those door-to-door sales outfits are notorious for hiring ex-cons fresh out of the joint/cons on work release and sending them out to random neighborhoods to do sales pitches. No offense, but I don't need to be wondering if they cleaned some guy up a bit and sent him to come try to sell me some bullchit cable deal or knife set, or some bs. They don't need to be scoping anything about my property out regardless and can go fuk themselves.
