Did a poor last minute presentation at work and now getting mocked+bullied (srs)

Normally we have our sales staff do presentations and if there is a technical question related to my field I answer the questions (usually quite well).

For this particular client my boss put me on the spot and said "OnlyHope I want you to run the entire presentation this time". It would have been fine if they told me in advance so I could practice? I never did it before and I have an inate fear of public speaking so long story short I fuked it up with stuttering, long silences and saying **** going into sales mode instead of engineering mode. Needless to say it didn't go well but overall I don't think the clients cared much as the product speaks for itself.

Anyways after we got back to work my boss has been continually making fun of me "OnlyHope your presentation was quite poor, the way you stuttered, said this phrase, it was terrible, LOL" and he keeps saying that in front of my younger colleagues who I believe respect me less. Its very hurtful considering I was never a strong public speaker and this event has traumatised me and I now considering leaving. I always had a small stutter growing up and considering my boss is imitating me stuttering is humiliatingI rarely stuttered as an adult as I worked hard to improve my speech in my schooling days and this is bringing everything back. I don't want to complain against him as I know how the world works but I'm considering leaving to a worse job in another company but at least they have nicer work environment.

cliffs:
Asked to do a last minute presentation which is normally done by sales and I fuked it up horribly with stuttering etc, and my boss now mocks me in front of colleagues and bringing up the inner demon in me from my childhood. Don't know if I should just leave

Tell him straight up that your struggle is genuine and that he's not being funny when he tries to imitate you. If he can't understand (or does it despite understanding) he's an irredeemable *******.

Your HR department exists to protect the company, if he's just being passive-aggressive it's unlikely they'll do anything. But if your boss doesn't change his behavior after being confronted, I'd look for a new job while lodging a complaint. And I'd recommend being in the good graces of another superior so you can get a nice reference other than your boss.

If the boss is imitating you that’s messed up. You need to turn it back on them. Hey boss I know I didn’t do a great job but you sprang that on me last minute. I’ll do better next time, but you making fun of me isn’t professional and it’s out of line.

What have you got to lose?

Give your office the Sam Hyde treatment, talk to your boss, if he gets aggressive with you, don't be afraid to defend yourself through a group of people.

Your boss is a low iq kunt

Report him if he is just some middle manager

And next time, don't go ahead with his stupid on the spot ideas. Just tell him no, you haven't prepared and don't do presentations on the spot. Fuk that power playing kunt

Become rich, buy the company, and fire the chit out of everyone. Then buy their banks and foreclose on their homes and put them out on the street.
Would kick em in the nuts

Bro you're sounding like a puss.

Boss put you on the spot now you wanna quit?

jfc

This was an excellent lesson for you. You got out of your comfort zone and did the best you could (which was chit btw) maybe you should look at this like an opportunity. Or a challenge? When was the last time you challenged yourself?

Buckle up buckroo

Its gonna be a bumpy ride
