Never Too Late: Powerlifter With 19 World Records, Started Lifting At 65
A Royal Oak gym has been the recent home to the many accolades of 78-year-old Nora Langdon, who continues to set benchmarks for her age group as a powerlifter. She says she deadlifts close to 400 pounds- squats 380 and bench presses up to 185.
That bench press though.

I'm stubborn AF in some circumstances and have a history of being disagreeable if someone tells me I can't do something, or I have to do something and the only thing they have to back that up is "because I said so".

That's really impressive. Wonder how her joints are holding up.
To the actual powerlifters here: Would equipped lifting make it harder(due to more weights) or easier(due to less balancing) on the joints?
