65yo Lady arrested for not wearing mask in bank - Vid

I mean she should of complied but she raises good points in her argument:

Won't wear mask
Want to stop doing business with bank
Can't withdrawal money without mask

So how do you get the money out of the bank to switch banks without wearing a mask?



Also second point she raises is pretty good too:

It's not illegal(yet) to not-wear a mask and all banks are under federal regulation despite being privately owned.

About to pull all my money from Bank of America today, they charged me 25 maintenance fee when I had 9.9k in checking and said “since I didn’t have 10k it’s a 25$ fee”

Yet I had a contract for anything less then 1500$ for monthly maintenance fee.

1 breach of contract
2 unauthorized charge

They refunded me my 25$ but thats fukn theft and not their money to take at free will over some fake policy they just made up without any signatures

Actually a good thing because she now has lawsuits.

A bank's policy cannot supercede federal law. Not allowing a person do business because of not wearing a mask violates the civil rights act of 1964 and is discrimination. It is a private business BUT when you open you doors to THE PUBLIC, it becomes a public accommodation and a public transaction of goods and services.

This lady can directly sue the employee not allowing her to do business I believe.

I'm not 100% sure how this all works but that is the jist of it. Also how can she be arrested because she didn't break any laws?

False. They can impose any reasonable policy in their building they want and this one is backed by mandates.

She was arrested for trespassing which she was doing by not leaving when asked to do so.

Crusty old hag can close her account online if it’s that important to not put a mask on so no one was stopping her from accessing her money.

This kind of reminds me when I went to my local library to vote without a mask. They had about 20 signs saying mask required, a bowl of masks and hand sanitizer on a table when you walked in, huge circle stickers on the ground for social distancing guidelines leading up to the area to vote. I went in with no mask and stood in line. They all saw me. Didn't say anything until I got to the front of the line and they said "Oh you have to wear a mask." I said no thank you. They said no but you HAVE to wear a mask. I said....no i don't. A lady from the front desk comes walking up saying "Sir I have a mask for you!" I said no thank you. Everyone bertstared each other having no idea what to do. I simply said "I don't need a mask to vote." Then they let me vote and gave me this special little desk to sit at to do it lmao. They knew I didn't have to they were just surprised I had the balls to say no to them.

All this is really is shame and bullying tactics. If people just understood their rights more, they can fight back further by suing these people through the federal court. It sucks, but people need to start standing up to this bullchit. Otherwise you'll have vaccine passes and can't fly unless you have an anal swab test and a covid-19 passport.

No you can't. A mandate isn't a law. A mandate literally means fuk all. Look it up. It is just a "guideline." A bank transaction is a public accommodation.

She now can sue the lady for 25k in federal court just by writing up and sending in a piece of paper. Srs.

Hey dumba$$, if you have an account and the policy states you pay a maintenance fee if your balance is < than 10K, you pay the fee if your balance is 9,999.99. They also don't have to "get a signature" to change their fee policy, you agreed to this when you opened the account and probably waived the ability to sue them and only use arbitration. And all banks are like this.

The criminal trespassing was the illegal part. She could have left without anything happening.

I mean if she tried to walk into the bank with no pants on the same thing would have happened.



I'm not a fan of masks. However, trespassing is pretty simple. You're asked to leave and if you comply then you're good. If you don't, then you can made to leave.

This will probably be dismissed or dropped.

I’m all for personal liberties and maybe that woman was correct, but also **** HER for not just putting on a goddamn mask.

We all are expected to do things from a common courtesy standpoint. This bitch didn’t care about that.

Pretty sure this is in Texas if it's the story I'm thinking of. Masks mandate was waved last week... however, a business can still deny service, and they can mandate you wearing a mask as part of that if they want to. I literally wear mine below my nose and no one says **** to me about it. It's all ridiculous.

Now, someone said something up above about public places. Not sure if a bank falls into that, but whatever. If it does then that can be solved. If it's like any other business though that isn't public they can deny service if they want to.
