You can't really appreciate coffee until after you start night shifts

At its best and most purposeful, coffee is for contemplative moments for people who are introduced into doing night shifts for employment. Coffee is not what Starbucks pretends to be. That is not how coffee should be consumed. If you start drinking coffee when you're only doing day shifts, are you really a man? As it pertains to Americans, specifically, we have completely bastardized this important beverage with our debauched lifestyles. For crying out loud, I see soccer moms dragging their wee tots into coffee shops 'to play' with the other heathens brought in by the other Karen housewives--a complete breach of coffee shop ethics. Having a coffee the right way is not unlike having a fine cigar or cognac or scotch. I only started drinking coffee after I started doing night shifts and it's completely changed my life
