I either go to the gym or work on the project car.
I also read alot to just chill.
I stopped using alcohol to relax because it became a problem.

I legit just let it go.
I make it sounds easy, but it really took practice. Just stop giving a fuk srs.
Life happens, you don't even have to do anything. Every day will go on. Just let it wash over you mean. Stop trying to be in control.

I get myself into a state of happiness so that stress does not impact me when perceived problems arise.
-Meditate in bed when you first become conscious in the AM (deep breathing for 15-30 minutes will do
-Adopt a positive attitude, essentially looking on the bright side no matter what happens. Worrying and getting emotional doesn't help, it hinders
-Make an effort to laugh as much and as frequently as possible. Even if something isn't very funny, if it makes you giggle m8, milk it. Laughter is magical

Honestly a high stress day? Alcohol. But general disconnects work. Working out is always the GOAT though.

once you understand what stress is yu'll never feel stressed again
stress is just your body/mind thinking you can't handle what's infront of you.

OP I like to take naps to help relieve stress. I also have aromatherapy and lotions in my office for work stress, candles at home, look at photos of beaches, past trips, listen to ocean waves, etc.. I learned that sight, touch, taste (like a mint in your mouth, not a binge), and sound are great ways to relieve stress.

I became a nihilist through and through and I haven't stressed ever since. Could be a double edged sword though.

Lifting is by far the best antidote to stress.
Having a hobby outside work, hanging out with friends, binging on a good netflix tv show
eating out with mates, have a drink or two.
and find a better job that doesn't work you to death srs

I threatened to leave my job unless they gave me a 4 day work schedule and that helped drastically. One less day of seeing/dealing with idiots always helps. Taking time off and relaxing/drinking with friends works great. Nicotine is nice from time to time. Worked 17 hours Tuesday then had yesterday off which was nice. Came in today to all kinds of problems that none of my 3 coworkers took care of yesterday. Pathetic

I tried every possible method and in the end you still need to manage this one, what he says. Be able to let it go. I do sports, I garden, I bake, I paint, I draw, I colour, I study a language, blablablablabla. In the end being able to let it go is what makes you enjoy your x hobbies.
Plus Iยดm probably retiring in 10 years, so 35. The thought itself of sitting at the beach all day helps

People will push until you push back. Going to guess this is less of a stress management feedback session and more about regaining your sanity.
1. Cap your hours at the level you feel sustainable at. If you burn yourself out you aren't any good to the client but more importantly you are way more important than a project. There's a reason every other partner is an alcoholic.
2. Make sure you share/talk with someone so you aren't on your own. The misc is no substitute for an IRL mentor.
3. The distinction between churning work and adding value is crucial. Be ruthless in separating what your seniors need from what they want...Then iterate towards the stuff they need, and whenever any request is longer than "oh that's quick and easy", rope them in and say "It'd be best if we did Y instead of X, which is nearly as good for 5x less effort". If you understand who the audience for the ask is and why they want it, can get feedback early and often, and push back on life sucking "wants" and time consuming details, you will be able to salvage more of your sanity. Seriously, I've started saying "I recommend (whatever is 10 times less work for me)" and then they just...go for it. I recommend....I end my day at 4pm so I can get a head start on that romesco sauce.
For actual stress management once you get your life back...Long walks, HIIT, baking new things, cross stitching while binge watching a series, being of service to someone else. Hang in there and good luck.
