Id like to know the full story that was only 3 mins lol, I realize the guy should not have been arrested.

But like, did the department apoligize? Was there recognition for his bravery eventually? Did the officer say anything later on?

According to the FB link in the OP, the officer was promoted. That was April of 2019, so I'm not sure if that was relatively close to the event, or whether it was related to it.
