I used to always be bored in church growing up. I would invariably find myself turning to Revelation and reading all that dark, apocalyptic material to keep me awake.

genesis 3:19 when God laid out Adam's punishment (a natural cause effect reaction to adams error) I like it because it reminds me that we all end up returning to dust in the ground and is almost meditative to consider. It helps keep things in perspective.

Yeah agree that the ideas in the Bible, or any religious text really, are real and good. I'm a very spiritual person but I think organized religion is a scam of the highest order.

Dudes flying around in private jets teaching me about a guy 2000 years ago who taught that you should donate your wealth. Conveniently they think i should donate my wealth to their church. Just lmao.

If I found a church where the leader actually lived like the teachings of the Bible id go every Sunday and give that guy 10% of my earnings. You'll never find it though. Fukin scam.
