Has Costco water started tasting bitter to anyone else?

I only started noticing it in the past year or so I thought maybe I bought a bad/old batch, but i'm shopping at multiple different Costco stores and all their water has a weird bitter taste to it....but its never the entire flat of bottles. Some taste just fine but others are so bad I can't even finish them.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I’ve noticed this with nestle water this past year, some bottles have an oily smell and taste ‘off’

I noticed this with the plastic jugs that you buy at the store. It tastes like they left them in the sun and the plastic leached into the water or something. Switched to water delivery and it tastes much better.
