Go back inside! If you don't stay inside and wear three masks and anal swab twice a day, some 90+ year olds with severe underlying health conditions might die! Do you want that?!?

So they know how many people died in the plague of Justinian (wtf is that btw) in the year 500 while they keep complaining about reporting in the year 2020 and how its impossible to give real numbers.

True, but consider that in times past the average person had a much stronger constitution in general. People were on average younger, less fat in better shape, and all the weaklings were killed off during infancy.

No chit,it would be game over. All the 1 percenters fleeing and living in New Zealand ,while we’re decimated by chaos and starvation.

Then the filthy rich would have some kind of game show using us for entertainment, with drones watching are every move as everything unfolded .

Hey ,this might make for a good movie bruhs ?

They did just that. A lot of the wealthy fled the cities and lived isolated from the general population and had a much higher chance of survival. It did a good job of solving the poverty problem they had back then. Right after that, the Renascence.

Obesity has reached epidemic proportions globally, with at least 2.8 million people dying each year as a result of being overweight or obese. Once associated with high-income countries, obesity is now also prevalent in low- and middle-income countries.

so obesity is more deadly than corona

The government cares about your health. That's why you're free to eat yourself to death but can't legally visit your dying parent in the hospital or hang out with your friends.

hehe, as a top 3 UK medical school offer holder, I would like to thank the GOV for stretching the workforce to its knees, destroying the economy and not privatising the whole thing so we can have inbreds pay and me being rich

The black plague was an infection. Today , you can rid yourself of the black plague with basic antibotics. Back then , they never had such antibotics.

Wouldn't doctors make a lot more in a private system?

I work in healthcare and the difference in salary for my profession between here and the USA or Australia is sickening. I always say I would support more privatisation or a different system of healthcare because we would be able to provide a better service and get paid more for doing it.

Exactly, so average age is higher now. A lot used to die in infancy or in battle. People are kept alive by medical science now, not because they are healthier.

Consider how far we’ve advanced in terms of technology, sanitation, and health care, and SARS-CoV-2 becomes a lot more impressive. We could stomp out a plague in no time at all, but SARS-Cov-2 has racked up those numbers despite our advances and despite ruining over a year with strict lockdowns around the world

Those stats from the Black Death, plague of Justinian, and smallpox are also high cumulative estimates after the diseases had run their course over 5-8 years. The COVID-19 numbers are actual tracked and confirmed deaths over about a year, the final confirmed number will be much higher and the final estimated numbers (accounting for poorer countries who lack the resources to accurately track this stuff) will be much higher

No. Many people back then never had access to good nutrition, medicine etc. as the did today. Many were lacking in essential nutrients. That's why people are much taller today than they were back then.

Google "Tracking covid-19 excess deaths across countries the economist"When the USA recorded 154,000 dovid deaths, there were actually 214,812 excess deaths in this country. This means that the USA is under counting covid deaths, unlike Europe

There was also an excess of over 400,000 deaths in 2020 (3.2 million vs 2.8 million in 2019) even though covid deaths were reported at 350,000 in 2019 according to the CDC

See:https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...eath-toll.html

There were over 565,000 excess deaths since covid hit. At the time of writing, covid killed a reported 540,000 people

I am an Eastern European immi to the UK and here is my opinion with statements (for which I can provide references but on mobile rn) and here is my perspective based on the evidence I have seen:

Numerised if you want to discuss any:

1. The difference is sickening but for the USA a factor that plays is that everything pays more (CS at Google/whatever, finance guy at a finance company, bank teller, grocery till worker) etc. So you can afford a lot less in the USA with the same money for sure.

Then you have the privatisation thing that makes the USA an outlier on top of that.

2. Not even 1 proper immigration control policy. Brexit won't even provide this. Why? Because Brexit keeps retard EU out somewhat, lets good EU in. Keeps a cap on immigration (although I have not seen evidence that EU forced a non-capped).

What's the problem with this? Well, no proper checking of what type of immigrant is coming and cultural things that need to be addressed. The biggest public charges of immigrants are healthcare for themselves and their family and schooling for their children.

If you come and have 1 kid with an income of 100k GBP and a working wife making 50-75K GBP that is a significant contribution. Make the wife non-working, a culture of super large families of >=3 and we have net taking.
The average European migrant arriving in the UK in 2016 will contribute £78,000 more than they take out in public services and benefits over their time spent in the UK (assuming a balanced national budget), and the average non-European migrant will make a positive net contribution of £28,000 while living here. By comparison, the average UK citizen’s net lifetime contribution in this scenario is zero.
https://www.oxfordeconomics.com/rece...3-0e250df6dbba

The solution is quite simple = make schooling private and healthcare insurance-based. Then everyone will see how much they are worth. Not to mention that competition between schools will be a lot so the fees will go down.

3. Both schools and healthcare need privatisation with good regulation (see Singapore, Switzerland) but then there will be a period of reckoning among a lot of retarded right-winger populace. Even though they speak a lot of entitlement, they themselves will realise that they are net takers from the Treasury if you account schools for children and healthcare (but immigrants and gov X is a good scapegoat instead).

In short, allow a better balance of privatisation with good regulation (which essentially means majority privatisation AFAIK) and carefully examine who and what causes a huge public charge compared to a public contribution.

reason why you got so much death in USA is because your population is full of Fat fcks..........94% of people who die typically have 2+ co morbidities , if you were healthier your numbers would be no where near so high
